Dear St Michael’s Church Family,

Even if you don’t always watch our online service, don’t miss this one!

You will find the link here

This Sunday is our Patronal Festival, when we remember and give thanks for the founding of St Michael’s church.  We have put together a slightly different, and we hope special online service to mark this event.

Thank you very much to Mary Biles and the Social Committee and to everyone who made today’s Gift Day Fair such a lovely event.  The sun shone on us, and it was a great pleasure seeing many of St Michael’s on the green near the War Memorial this morning.  Not always easy to recognise people round the face masks, but very good to catch up.  Money raised by our Gift Day Letter is still coming in, but this morning's Gift Day stalls and raffle alone raised £424.00, with a little more money possibly to come.

Next Sunday is Harvest Festival.  We will have our usual service of Holy Communion in church at 9.45 a.m.  There will also be activities outside for children and young people.   We hope for good weather again!

With case numbers on the rise again we all still need to be careful about what we do, and no one should feel under any pressure to come to church.

With my prayers for us all for a blessed Sunday’s worship together wherever we are,
