Eco Church Award
Many congratulations to Wendy and Bob Ardern and our Eco Church Working Party who have worked hard to bring St Michael’s to a point where we have been awarded a Bronze Eco Church Award. This indicates that we have made a serious commitment to engage with measures to reduce our impact on the environment.
Recycling – a reminder
It’s great that we are now recycling plastic film and blister packs from tablets. Please make sure that you separate them out for recycling. Plastic film goes in a large black sack near the font. Blister packs go in the box on the table near the pillar where hymn books are kept.
Bra Bank
YES! You did read this correctly, I have contact with a lingerie company based in Milton Keynes which does wonderful work with ladies who have had mastectomies resulting from breast cancer. If you have previously loved bras, in good condition, which you would like to donate, please leave these in the labelled bag at the back of church and I will take them to be reused or remodelled by partner charities. Thank you
