We are hoping to launch a new Youth Group for young people aged 11 – 18 across the Ampthill and Shefford Deanery. The plan is to begin with an initial event at Ninja Warrior in Milton Keynes on Sunday 25 January, 5.00 – 7.00 pm. This will be an evening of fun and getting to know one another.
From there the young people will be invited to a youth event called ‘Illuminate’ at St Albans Cathedral in February. From then on the aim is to have two satellite youth groups (Deanery Eastenders and Deanery Westenders) which will meet once a month. Young people from St Michael’s will go to the Westenders group. I don’t yet know where this will be based.
