A date for your diaries: Saturday 18 April – 10.00 am to 12 noon. Coffee morning with cake!!
We are looking for ways to raise much needed funds for the church and want to trial a coffee morning to attract the Woburn Sands community together with walkers and cyclists who pass the church on a Saturday morning, to come into church for coffee and cake. If the trial is a success, we hope to have a coffee morning, say, once a month which could become a regular fund-raiser for the church.
We will need lots of cakes to make the event a success and want to know if anyone in the church would be willing to help with making cakes. Also if someone would be able to assist Hazel and myself for an hour on the day from 10.00-11.00 am and 11am-12 noon.
Please let family and friends know of the event. We will be putting a poster on the church notice board and on an A-frame outside the church gate to raise awareness. An advert will also go into Christian News and Hogsty End Handbook.
