The Cryers will be holding a concert in St. Michael’s on Sunday, 19 April at 4.00 pm.

This concert is a break from our usual performances as it combines secular and sacred songs.

It starts with jolly madrigals and then goes into sacred music reflecting the change of style from the renaissance to the reformation.

Several of our favourite composers died in the 1620s…Weelkes 1623, Gibbons 1625, Byrd and Dowland 1626, so this concert is also a recognition of 400 years since their death and includes many of their songs.

The concert is free and refreshments will be available with all donations going to St. Michael’s Church

P.S If you can’t make the 19th we’re doing the same concert at Willen Church on Saturday, 25 April at 4.00 pm!
