For several years Keith Price has been both Churchwarden and the co-ordinator of our churchyard maintenance. He now feels that the time has come for him to give up the churchyard maintenance role.
This role involves:
Organising 3 -4 churchyard working parties (usually Saturday mornings) during the grass growing season
Liaising with the Environmental Working Party of the PCC on the management of the wildflower areas of the churchyard
Liaising with Keith Bates who regularly mows the grass
Undertaking some additional grass cutting and tidying if/when necessary
Please speak to Keith or David (Churchwardens) if you might be able to take this on.
Meanwhile we are holding a Churchyard working party for Saturday 11 May, between 9.00 am and 12 noon. This will include a coffee break and light buffet lunch. Please inform Mary or David Biles if you are able to attend.
