A HUGE THANK YOU
Thank you so much to you all for the wonderful final service and party last Sunday. We were amazed and very grateful for your very generous gift of John Lewis and Garden Vouchers and for the beautiful rose for our new garden.
Thank you also for all your messages of thanks and appreciation, on the large church card and on individual cards and emails. Some of you also gave us very thoughtful individual gifts. We will reply and thank you properly individually in due course.
Thanks also to everyone who came, and everyone who worked so hard to make my last service so special musically and in every way.
Thank you too for the party afterwards. It was so efficiently organised and it gave time for us both to chat to so many people.

On behalf of all St Michael’s Church congregation and the wider community of Woburn Sands, I would like to say how blessed we were to have Diana as our vicar for 9 years.
I would like to thank her and her husband Simon for all the help and support they have given to us all in times of joy and troubles. The work that she has done in welfare visiting, Churches Together, Love Woburn Sands and starting a toddler group on Thursday mornings, are just a few of the many things she has done to involve schools and community. Her husband Simon who took over as Treasurer was involved in the installation of our new kitchen and toilet to facilitate disable people and baby changing.
Diana has now retired and her last service was on Sunday 5th July. We wish them both health and happiness in their retirement. They will be sadly missed.
